Socrates is a school with a warm and friendly atmosphere, the size of each class never exceeding eight people. We aren't simply a language school. Over the course of years we offer various means for our students to become better acquainted with the cultures of the country our countries in which their new languages are spoken.

Teachers with the Highest Credentials

All of our teachers are certified specialists in the field of foreign language education. Our native speakers and our teachers of Russian origin have broad experience with teaching. We use textbooks published by premier international publishers in English (Cambridge University Press, MacMillan, Oxford, Pearson, Longman) and in French (Hachette FLE, Cle International, Didier), as well as in Spansih, German and Italian.

Your day-to-day progress is our primary goal.

Before you begin studies at Socrates, will give you a test to determine your level of knowledge (unless you're a complete beginner.) Throughout the course of your studies, well evaluate your knowledge. At the end of your studies, you'll be given a certificate denoting your number of class hours and the results of your final exam.

A study program based on European standards.

Our program is constructed by the guidelines of the Pan-European Competence in Foreign Languages, established by the European Union. Our courses correspond to contemporary European Standards and, if necessary, we can help you prepare for test and exams in English, German, Spanish, French, and Russian. Our courses are calculated to apply to any level, from beginner to advanced.

Study at your own speed

Study proceeds at whatever pace is best for the fulfillment of your goals, a pace measured by you and worked out by our specialists. You are the main agent in your own study, while we provide the necessary means to make your study successful.

Language for Communication

Studies at the Socrates Center allow you to begin speaking as quickly as possible. First you'll learn to speak, and then to write. We also pay special attention to grammar.

Our center has great accumulated experience in teaching English, French, Spanish and Russian as foreign languages.
