The people who study English at the Socrates center comprise quite a diverse group: businessmen, their wives who don't have jobs, students of various academic levels, upwardly mobile "yuppies", "gilded youths" who are tired of entertainment, fifteen-year olds and even three-year-olds who still don't have the burden of daily schoolwork. The rich selection of study programs makes it possible to combine learning English with work and other studies, and allows us to resolve any of our clients language problems and to satisfy the most intractable demands. With us, anyone can pick out the most suitable English course for himself.

We offer the following English courses:

Standard English course four adults (8 levels)

The standard English course consists of eight stages of study, corresponding to the various levels of English mastery -- Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, and Advanced.

English courses for children and minors

English courses for children four years and older. There are three courses, corresponding to various ages and learning and learning abilities:

Kids -- For children 4-6 years old, Children -- For children 7-9 years old, and Juniors -- for children 10-13 years old.

Business English

We have courses in Business English for those who often need to communicate with foreign partners, speaking and conducting correspondence with them on matters of business. We invite you try one of several programs of study for Business English.

Conversational English Courseo

If you have a decent understanding of grammar, but have difficulty communicating, the conversational English course is for you. This course is designed to break down the language barrier, increase vocabulary, and put your grammatical knowledge to use.

Intensive and hyperintensive English courses

This course is designed for those who want to acheive the most extensive results in the shortest time. The intensive course does not differ from the standard course except in that it is finished within three months instead of six. In the hyperintensive course, special attention is directed to conversational speech.

Courses in preparation for international exams

We offer courses for those preparing to take the TOEFL, IELTS, FCE, of CAE international exams. Close cooperation with the British Council and a broad experience in training for exams makes our preparatory courses quite effective. Our high percentage of our students receive international certificates.

Individual English studies

The easiest way to study English is in one-on-one lessons with a qualified teacher. The greater efficiency of this method allows the student to complete an English course in fewer academic hours than are needed for group study.
